Entitlement to Statutory Sick Pay

DWP Ministers have decided to take steps to amend the Fixed Term Employees (Prevention of less favourable treatment) Regulations 2002 to restore the Government’s policy intention that Agency workers with contracts of less than 3 months should not be excluded from entitlement to Statutory Sick Pay. Preparatory work to amend the Regulations will take place during the coming months.
